Bryan de Valdivia was born in Los Angeles, California to immigrant parents, where he grew up dancing to the Salsa Rhythms of his Latin roots as well as the Gangster Rap and R&B of the inner city landscape. His time in the clubs has driven him to pursue a style of tango that is experienced at a base level, utilizing Nuevo methods for analyzing and exploring the dance, yet constantly striving to synthesize the results into a dance that is natural and flowing, where both partners enjoy freedom of movement yet are intimately connected to share a dynamic experience.
